The Likan Palace was built in the village of Likani near Borjomi on the orders of Grand Duke Nikolai Mikhailovich Romanov in the late 19th century. This beautiful palace complex, made in the Moorish style, served the royal family as a summer residence. In Georgia, the Lycan Palace until recently served as the summer residence of the president. Entrance here was forbidden: one could only admire the facade of the complex.
