Design project of a country house in a country style
Country style in the interior is formed taking into account the peculiarities of culture and life of each country, its national traditions, climatic features and even the temperament of the population. Country styling in a modern interior is very harmoniously adjacent to high-tech devices and gadgets, but it still remains true to the basic principle - the use of environmentally friendly materials, designed primarily to fulfill the functional load.
There is nothing more logical than the use of country style in the design of the interior and exterior of a country house. It is the proximity to nature, to its materials that allows you to harmoniously fit all the features of rural style into the arrangement of a modern house. We bring to your attention a design project of one country house, in the interior of which the country style is reflected literally in every room, in every secluded nook. We’ll follow the premises of this country mansion to once again make sure of a simple truth - the country style is more relevant than ever.
Being on the street, in front of the main entrance to the country cottage, we no longer have any doubts about the stylistic design of this building. Stone wall decoration, the use of wooden and forged elements - all indicate a rural lifestyle and taste preferences of the owners of the house. Already on the exterior of the building, we understand that indoors we will not meet plastic furniture, chrome furniture fittings or linoleum as a floor covering.
And the territory of the infield is in harmony, achieved by the neat integration of landscape design elements in the manifestations of nature. It is not easy to find a balance between what the environment can offer and the result that the customer of landscape design would like to get. But in this case we can talk about an absolute hit.
The wide garden paths lined with stone, abundant vegetation, a riot of colors and the possibilities of outdoor recreation can turn visitors so much so that they forget why they came to this country mansion.
So, let’s go to the main entrance, where the king of the forests will meet us, planed from solid wood reminiscent of not only country life, but also the incredible proximity of wildlife.
Indoors, it immediately becomes clear that the scale of the house can impress. The designers who worked on the interior of the mansion did not have to steal every square meter of space, and they were able to realize all their ideas for arranging a country house in country style - spacious rooms with arched entrances, stone wall finishes, massive wooden furniture, antique-styled doors but all this is done in accordance with the requirements of the comfortable life of a modern homeowner.
Literally from the doorway we find ourselves in the dining room, which is adjacent to the hallway without any partitions and walls.
Spacious room with a light color palette of decoration, literally filled with sunlight. Such a bright room can easily withstand dark wood, from which a massive, roomy table and chairs with backs and leather upholstery are made. What is a country house without a fireplace? There are several of them in this mansion, some of which have an exclusively decorative function, but there are also active centers. The dining room was no exception in the use of forged elements - a chandelier and wall lamps, made in the old style, decorate the room, fulfilling the functionality assigned to them.
We’ll follow through the “stone” corridor, which, besides the manifestation of a rustic country in the interior of a country house, also carries a deep functional meaning, we will enter the kitchen room.
Large stones in the wall decoration, almost untreated, wooden beams with wormholes, the presence of a real stove near the kitchen room - the rusticity of this house could have been envied by the homeowners of the Middle Ages.
The spacious kitchen is a versatile blend of eco-friendly materials in an incredibly functional room. Modern technology, dazzling by the brilliance of stainless steel, harmoniously looks in the neighborhood with classic wooden kitchen cabinets, painted in dark mint color. And the built-in lighting on the ceiling and under the hood looks appropriate next to the rustic wooden beams.
In the kitchen room there is another small dining area, designed for a family narrow circle. Its design is similar to the main dining room, which usually receive guests. The same bright ceilings and walls, wooden flooring, wrought iron lamps and massive furniture, but in this room we see another key manifestation of the country style in the interior - wooden ceiling beams, which are not intentionally finished to the end, leaving roughness and chips.
A huge room two floors high, occupies a central living room. A large fireplace extending high into the ceiling arches became the focal point of the room, as befits a family hearth, especially in a country house. A variety of upholstered furniture for a convenient device by the fireplace to watch the fire - what else might be needed in a similar home ownership?
The abundant use of masonry and structural elements and wooden supports does not burden the interior and allows you to successfully integrate modern methods of organizing lighting or wiring engineering systems into it. Being in this house, you can enjoy all the benefits of modern life, but at the same time feel the spirit of rural life, its simplicity and conciseness, proximity to nature and organicity.
Absolutely all rooms of this country cottage are made in country style. The bedroom, with an office located on the upper level, was no exception. A simple, rural interior using natural materials and light finishes always creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for a good rest.
Even in bathrooms, where, as we all perfectly understand, it is not easy to introduce country elements, the presence of rural life is visible not only in the minds, but also in the hearts of the owners.
